Typed label on the back of the print reads, "13590 -- Weister, Portland. The Gorge of the Klickitat. Showing precipitous rock walls only fifteen feet apart. Photo taken three miles Northeast of Lyle, Klickitat County, Washington. Thirty thousand horse power to be developed (sic) at this point. Preliminary arrangements for construction now about completed."
