Full-length portrait of a man, Richard J. White of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, standing on the sidewalk outside a building and looking to the right. He is wearing a hat, suit, and tie, and is standing with his hands in his jacket pockets. The photograph was taken in June 1920 during the Travelers’ Protective Association convention in Portland. According to a front-page story in the Oregon Journal, which was accompanied by image No. 376G0011, White was elected president of the organization. See additional related image No. 376G0010.
