Part of Wiggins photographs
This photograph depicts a half-portrait of a seated United States Army Officer in uniform identified as George Crane. A handwritten inscription on the negative reads, "Geo. Crane, Co. (?) A. Eng." He has several pins on the collar of his jacket, and two medals on his chest. The medal on the left indicates "Rifle Expert," the medal on the right is likely a war service recognition medal. This photograph was likely taken by a staff photographer for the Oregon Daily Journal.
