The man at left is holding a box and is wearing an apron and a hat with the words “Columbia Beverage Co.” on the front. The other three men, wearing overcoats and suits, are standing in a row behind him. On the side of the truck are the words “Star Vaggi's Mixers” and “Columbia Beverage Co.”

A cropped version of this photograph and image No. 372A1179 were published on the May 15 front page of the Oregon Journal under the headline “Big Guns of Education Salute Keezer.” This photograph had the following caption: “George W. Peavy, Oregon State college president; William J. Kerr, chancellor of higher education; Dr. Keezer and C. V. Boyer, president of University of Oregon.” The photographs accompanied a story headlined “Dr. Keezer Installed as Reed’s Prexy.” Image note: The text “Reed College 5/15/35” is written on the negative and is visible at the bottom of the image.
