Boudoir card of the salmon fishery on the Columbia River at Warrendale, Oregon. A woman stands beside the railroad tracks that pass the fishery in the foreground. The title of the card incorrectly states this is located in Washington Territory. An Oregonian newspaper article featuring this photograph is affixed to the back of the card. It is dated Sunday, November 15, 1953, with the headline, "Historic Salmon Cannery Site in Gorge Acquired for Recreation Use by Forest."

There is an unidentified many standing in front of a cabin in the foreground and a train in the background on the right half of the image. This plate is part of an album of Watkin’s New Series photographs originally owned by Charles H. Prescott, manager of the Oregon Railroad and Navigation Co.

East Portland and Willamette River, Portland, Oregon

Black and white photograph of buildings and railroad tracks in east Portland during the 1890 flood. Floodwater covers most of the train tracks and logs and other debris has piled up beside them. Several buildings are clustered together in the distance. In the background, the Willamette River and Downtown Portland are visible. It is taken from a boardwalk or raised sidewalk. The photograph is mounted on a grey mat that was once bound into an album. Handwritten text below the photograph reads "East Portland, Ore. Feb-5-90". The photograph was taken in February, 1890, when excessive rain and unusually warm weather caused the Willamette and Columbia Rivers to flood.
