Copely.” Transcription from envelope: “’Grandma’ Husted’s House at the Cascades. Survivor of Whitman Massacre. Maiden name, Montgomery, First husband, Saunders who was killed in Whitman massacre, wife and children escaping death. Married second husband, Husted. Is said to have subsequently married a man named, Whiting.”
