Walter James Rayevich, nicknamed Jake Rayevich, wears a cowboy hat, overalls and a white t-shirt while standing outside. He laughs as he holds a small branch in both hands. He and his family participated in Valley Migrant League activities. Photographs from this series were published with Rayevich's obituary in the Valley Migrant League's Opportunity News on March 11, 1966. He died at age 65 in Forest Grove, Oregon.
