The front side of a broadside produced for the Hart-Royal Co. advertising plots of land for sale in Mount Tabor Villa. The neighborhood is part of today’s Montavilla neighborhood in Portland, Oregon. The broadside includes a birds-eye view map, a plat map of available plots for purchase, and a map of Portland showing the neighborhood in relation to the rest of the city.

The Coloma was owned by the Pacific Shipping Company and traveled between Portland and Hong Kong many times between about 1880 and 1900. She sank off the coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, on December 8, 1906.

Grace Methodist Episcopal Church on the Southwest Corner of Tenth Street and Taylor Street, Portland, Oregon

Black and white photograph of the Grace Methodist Episcopal Church on the southwest corner of Tenth Street (now Southwest Twelfth Avenue) and Taylor Street (now Southwest Taylor Street) in Portland. It is a stone structure with a tall bell tower and stained glass window. Bare trees line the streets around it. The structure was built in 1889, functioning as the building for the Grace Methodist Episcopal Church until it merged with another church in 1912, becoming First Methodist Episcopal Church. It was demolished in 1957.
