Mary Joanna Thomson, who married Daniel C. Beatty (Beaty) on December 16, 1856. She came overland from Indiana, starting in April 1853, via the South Pass, and arrived in Oregon in October 1853. They settled in Portland.

Charles Fountain Beatie, born in 1827 in Virginia, an Oregon pioneer. He married Nancy Jane Litell in August of 1853 in Clackamas County. They had eight children. He died at Oregon City in 1882.

Cornelius C. Beekman was a gold freighter, Wells Fargo agent for 42 years, and banker. Beekman founded the second bank in the Pacific Northwest, Beekman Bank in Jacksonville, Oregon.
