Duplicate of Stereograph 1295, on a different mount. Stereograph view of the home of Joseph Bailey, superintendent of the Oregon Steam Navigation Co.’s Oregon Portage Railroad and sawmill, at Eagle Creek in the Columbia River Gorge, 1867. The man in the black jacket, hat, and white shirt on the railroad bridge is Joseph Bailey. John Stevenson is sitting on the mule-drawn cart with another unidentified man.

"D145. Warrendale Salmon Fishery, Columbia River scenery, W.T."

Boudoir card of the salmon fishery on the Columbia River at Warrendale, Oregon. A woman stands beside the railroad tracks that pass the fishery in the foreground. The title of the card incorrectly states this is located in Washington Territory. An Oregonian newspaper article featuring this photograph is affixed to the back of the card. It is dated Sunday, November 15, 1953, with the headline, "Historic Salmon Cannery Site in Gorge Acquired for Recreation Use by Forest."

A steam locomotive on the railroad tracks at Bridal Veil on the Oregon side of the Columbia River Gorge during the winter storm of 1884-1885. This plate is part of an album of Watkin’s New Series photographs originally owned by Charles H. Prescott, manager of the Oregon Railroad and Navigation Co.
