Machinery for Eugene sewer contract on SP&S train

Photograph of a train carrying construction machinery on flat cars to fulfill a sewer contract in Eugene, Oregon. A sign on the side of the train reads, "These ten cars are loaded with machinery to be used by James Kennedy of Fargo, North Dakota on the $500,000.00 sewer contract at Eugene, Oregone (sic)." The name "Clark" is handwritten on the bottom of the print and this photograph was likely taken by F. Melvin Clark. Handwriting on the back of the print reads, "Eugene."

Banners hanging above the street advertise Kit Carson's Buffalo Ranch Wild West show. Handwriting on the back of the print reads, "Willamette St, Eugene. Willamette Avenue, Eugene. Either 1907 or 1912."
