Truck Caught in Low Railroad Underpass

A semi-truck and trailer are trapped after the top of the trailer crashed into a low railroad underpass at Columbia Boulevard and Albina Avenue. View looking at the front of the truck under the pass. Moving Kronenberg Catholic Church from Powell to Yamhill

A white church building is mounted on a flatbed truck in the middle of a street. This is the Kronenberg Catholic Church. A worker sits on the roof of the church as it is moved down the street, and another man stands in the distance, watching the move. There is a truck in the foreground, following the church. In the right foreground are 2 men. One watches the move while the other looks at the camera and smiles. The caption on negative sleeve reads, "Moving Kronnonberg (sic) Catholic Church, built in 1886, from 166th and Powell to 182nd and Yamhill" (negative 3 of 6).

Cattle truck fire and round-up of scattered cows in Portland

A damaged cattle after a collision with an an empty gasoline truck on S.W. Harbor Drive in Portland. The front of the vehicle in severely damaged, injuring the driver C.E. Maynard, who was hauling 17 head of cattle, eleven of which had to be rounded up. A story detailing the accident was published in the Oregon Journal on Friday, July 30, 1954 (negative 4 of 8).
