Carson (right) standing on either side of an unidentified woman and man holding a sign advertising a benefit for victims of an earthquake in Long Beach, California. They are standing at the bottom of steps outside a building, probably the Portland Municipal Auditorium (now the Keller Auditorium). The sign reads: “Auditorium Tues.
