Portrait of David Crawford, pioneer of 1844. Settled in Marion County and was a volunteer in the Cayuse War of 1847-48. Went to the mines in California in 1849, then returned to Pennsylvania in 1859, and was married there. Died in Altoona, Pennsylvania, August 20, 1903.
