Kelly A. Zusman (1965- ) graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law in 1989. She clerked for US District Judge Malcolm F. Marsh and Ninth Circuit Judge Otto R. Skopil. She is the Appellate Chief for the US Attorney's Office for the District of Oregon.

Naskah Zada was born in Sangasar, Iraq, in 1974. The village was destroyed by the Iraqi Army in 1988, and its residents were relocated to a camp near Mosul. She attended the University of Sulaimani, in Sulaymaniyah, in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. Her studies were interrupted when, in 1996, she and her family were evacuated by the U.S. military during Operation Pacific Haven. The next year, they settled in Portland, Oregon. She earned a degree from Portland State University. In 2007, she began working as television and radio producer and video editor at Voice of America in Washington, D.C. In 2018, she returned to Portland and began a YouTube show, called The Zada Show, focusing on news and culture in the Middle East.

Anthony "Tony" Yturri was born in 1914 in Jordan Valley, Oregon. His parents were Basque immigrants. He studied law at the University of Oregon, earning his law degree in 1937. After passing the bar the same year, he accepted a position working with Alan Biggs, a district attorney in Ontario, Oregon. He later became attorney for the city. In 1942, he and Remedios "Reme" Jayo were married; they had no children. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served from 1942 to 1946 in the counterintelligence branch and the judge advocate general's department. Later, Yturri, a Republican, represented Baker, Grant, Harney and Malheur counties in the Oregon Senate from 1963 to 1972. After leaving the Legislature, he was twice offered a seat on the Oregon Supreme Court, but he refused both times. He was appointed to chair the Oregon Transportation Commission by Governor Tom McCall, serving from 1979 to 1987. He died in 1999.

Patricia Jean Young was born in California in 1954. In 1981, she moved to Portland, Oregon, and in 1983, she began working for Tektronix. She later co-founded the Gay and Lesbian Archives of the Pacific Northwest and taught a senior capstone class on LGBTQ history at Portland State University.

Jean Young, nee Kitts, was born in Detroit, Michigan, in 1904. Her family came to Oregon in 1910. She studied romance languages at the University of Oregon. While at college, she met Frederic W. Young. They were married in 1926 and later had two children. Jean Young held posts in various civic organizations, including legislative liaison for the Oregon Parent Teacher Association from 1945 to 1949, and president of the Oregon Federation of Republican Women from 1971 to 1973. She was also historian for the Oregon Republican State Central Committee. She also held numerous positions in the Oregon Republican Party, including Republican Party precinct committee member for Multnomah County from 1936 to 1967; representative of the Republican Party on a legislative Interim Committee on Elections from 1955 to 1957; secretary of the Oregon Republican State Central Committee from 1954 to 1960; and presidential elector from 1960 until her death. She served on the city council for King City, Oregon, where she moved in 1967, from 1974 to 1980, and as mayor from 1981 to 1989. She died in 1992.

Ramazan Yiğit was born in Karagoz, Turkey, in 1994. He was the first member of his family to complete education beyond elementary school. He attended Gazi University in Ankara, and was involved in Kurdish rights organizations. In 2016, he worked at a restaurant in Glacier National Park in Montana as part of an English language program. Shortly afterward, Turkey experienced a failed coup attempt, and the Turkish government began arresting Kurdish activists. Yiğit then applied for asylum in the U.S., and settled in Portland, Oregon. He attended Portland Community College, and pursued a career as a clown.

Steven Page Yaw (1946-2017) was born in Portland, Oregon. He was the grandson of W.P. Yaw, the founder of Yaw's Top Notch. He ran the restaurant until its closure in 1985. He continued in the restaurant business and attempted to revive Yaw's Top Notch in 2012.

Herbert Edward Yates was born in Portland, Oregon, in 1930. He grew up in the Glenmorrie neighborhood of Lake Oswego, Oregon. In 1962, he and Bonnie Bernice Lynch were married. He served as president of the Glenmorrie Cooperative Association. He died in 2006.

Jerry Jiro Yasutome was born August 8, 1919, in Portland, Oregon. He married Irene Toshiko Morioka in 1941. Between 1942 and 1946, the Yasutome family was incarcerated by the United States government at the Tule Lake Relocation Center in California. The Tule Lake Relocation Center was one of ten American concentration camps to which Japanese Americans were forcibly removed and incarcerated during World War II. The Yasutomes' son, James Mamoru Yasutome, was born at Tule Lake in 1943. After the family's release from Tule Lake at the end of the war, they returned to Portland, and Jerry Yasutome attended the Northwest School of Photography, circa 1946-1948. He worked as a photographer and photofinisher in Portland. Jerry Yasutome died on July 25, 1994.
