Richard "Dick" L. Ponzi was born in New Castle, Pennsylvania, in 1934. In the late 1930s, his family relocated to Detroit, Michigan. He studied engineering at the University of Michigan, graduating in 1959. He then worked for North American Aviation in Los Angeles, California. In 1962, he and Nancy A. Berry were married; they later had three children. The couple soon moved to the San Francisco Bay Area, where Ponzi worked as a structural engineer for United Technology. In 1969, they moved to Beaverton, Oregon, where the Ponzis founded the Ponzi Winery the next year. While developing the winery, Dick Ponzi taught at Portland Community College until 1984.

Margaret Thiele Petti, nee MacDonald, was born in Spokane, Washington, in 1916. She grew up in the hotel and restaurant business in Vernonia, Oregon. In 1933, she went to Portland, where she worked at the Henry Thiele Restaurant at the corner of Northwest 23rd and Burnside. In 1941, she and Henry Thiele were married. The couple ran the Thiele catering service for the Kaiser shipyards during World War II. Henry Thiele died in 1952. Soon after, Margaret Thiele and August Petti were married. The Pettis ran the Henry Thiele Restaurant until its closure in 1990. Margaret Petti died in 2001.

Natee "Tom" Srisoontorn (1975- ) was born in Chonburi, Thailand. He came to the United States to study in 1990.

Helen Brunner (1905-2007) was born in Taintor, Iowa and came to Portland, Oregon with her family in 1920. She worked as a bookkeeper for Fred Meyer, Inc. for many years.

Ronald R. Still was Portland Police Chief from 1981 to 1985.

Hillman Lueddemann, Jr. (1924-2017) was born in Portland, Oregon. He worked at Portland General Electric from 1964-1989, serving on several boards such as the Portland Rose Festival, William Temple House, Providence St. Vincent Medical Foundation, United Way, Junior Achievement, Oregon Coast Aquarium, Oregon Garden, Portland Zoo, the Japanese Garden, OMSI and River View Cemetery.

Steven Page Yaw (1946-2017) was born in Portland, Oregon. He was the grandson of W.P. Yaw, the founder of Yaw's Top Notch. He ran the restaurant until its closure in 1985. He continued in the restaurant business and attempted to revive Yaw's Top Notch in 2012.

Wanda Lee Harvey, nee Mutschler (1933-2014) was born in Elko City, Oklahoma. She came to the Pacific Northwest when she was 14 years old. She worked as a waitress in drive-in restaurants in several cities across Oregon. She married Donald P. Krueger in 1980, and was known as Wanda Krueger until her marriage to Hugh Harvey in 1992. Prior to 1980 she was known as Wanda Lee Cassity.

Charles Henry Raney (1885-1972) worked at the Beaver State Motor Company in the early 20th century.

Marjorie Forbes Skene Wright (1920-2012) was born in Portland, Oregon. She lived in the gatehouse of Pittock Mansion from 1920 to 1945, where her father worked as head gardener. She worked at the main office of U.S. National Bank in Portland where she was a supervisor in the commercial banking division for 25 years.

Eric Ladd (1920-2000) was born as Leslie Carter Hansen. He was a historic preservationist in Portland, Oregon.

Robert "Peter" Pittock Gantenbein (1914-1984) was born in the Pittock Mansion in Portland, Oregon. He was a grandson to Henry and Georgiana Pittock. He was a founder the World Affairs Council of Oregon.
