Amy Robinson Gill, nee Amy Georgiana Robinson, was born in Portland, Oregon, in 1898. In 1918, she and Harold Dekum Gill were married; they later had one child. She died in 1995.

Heltzel, Charles H. (Charles Holmstrom), 1914-1997

Charles Holmstrom Heltzel was born in Salem, Oregon, in 1914. In 1931, he and Muriel Gabriel were married; they later had four children. In 1938, he earned a law degree from Willamette University. He was a lawyer in Salem, and also practiced with the firm of Smith Grey Hill and Rogers in Washington, D.C., for a short time in the late 1950s. He also served as the public utilities commissioner of Oregon in the 1950s. He died in 1997.

Malarkey, Susannah P. (Susannah Platt), 1902-1993

Susannah Platt Malarkey, nee Susannah Stoddard Platt, was born in Dayton, Ohio, in 1902. In 1915, she moved with her family to Portland, Oregon. In 1924, she and Neil Malarkey were married; they later had four children. She died in 1993.

Krivoshein, Vera P. (Vera Petrovna), 1904-1991

Vera Petrovna Krivoshein, nee Kotliaravskaya, was born in Ekaterinodar (now Krasnodar), Russia, in 1904. She immigrated to the United States in 1925 and later met Gabriel V. Krivoshein there. They married in 1927. Both became U.S. citizens: Gabriel V. Krivoshein in 1929, and Vera P. Krivoshein in 1939. They had two children. Gabriel died in 1990, and Vera died in 1991.

Ralston, William C. (William Cato), 1899-1991

William Cato Ralston was born in Albany, Oregon, in 1899. He grew up in Portland, Oregon, and also briefly lived in Berkeley, California, while his older sisters attended college. He studied law at the University of Oregon, then completed his law degree at Yale University in 1923. That same year, he returned to Portland and began practicing law. From 1931 to 1934, he worked as a prosecutor for the district attorney's office in Portland. He married Marcia Knight in 1925; they later had one child, then divorced in 1949. The next year, he remarried to Celia P. Stoddard. Ralston died in 1991.

Peterson, Fred L. (Fred Lawrence), 1896-1985

Fred Lawence Peterson was born in Owatonna, Minnesota, in 1896. In 1902, he moved with his family to Portland, Oregon. He served in the Oregon National Guard and was sent to France during World War I. After his discharge in 1919, he began operating a pharmacy in the Hollywood neighborhood of Portland. He married Madeline E. Peterson and they later had one child. In 1940, he was elected to the Portland City Council, and in 1953, he was elected Portland mayor. He ran for re-election in 1956 but was defeated by Terry Schrunk. Peterson died in 1985.

Campbell, Mabel Ella, 1902-2002

Mabel Ella Campbell, nee Brown, was born in Linden, Indiana, in 1902. In 1912, she moved with her family to Nehalem, Oregon. Her family moved to Salem, Oregon, two years later, and to Southern California before 1920. In the 1920s, she and Harry Neal Dow Sweet were married; they later had two children. She later remarried to Gerald Paul Campbell, and changed her surname to Campbell. She died in 2002.

Gretchen Brown was born in Salem, Oregon, in 1901. In the 1920s, she taught English and Latin. In 1927, she and Francis McDannell Brown were married; they later had two children. She died in 1994.
